Affirmative Action Business Compliance Services

Founded in 2007, Turning Pointe Autism Foundation is committed to providing the path to a competent and meaningful future for children and adults severely impacted with autism and other social, communication and behavior disorders. Turning Pointe’s Career Development and Business Compliance Services Programs recognize that employees with disabilities can be very productive, loyal, and dedicated members of our workforce. We believe that innovative corporate partnerships will help lead and define this ground-breaking standard for creating opportunities for those in our community impacted by autism. Our initiatives make good business sense for our corporate sponsors by offering a solution that is innovative, accountable and sustainable.

In this environment where federal and state funds are being cut each day, corporations must ensure they comply with all regulations and remove any barriers that might impede receiving government funds. Affirmative Action rules have begun to focus more on the employment of people with needs, an area not typically focused on in the past. Turning Pointe can quickly assess your current processes against the rules and regulations, provide suggestions to enhance processes and help you interface with world class organizations who have realized the benefits, beyond just compliance, of employing a diversified work force that includes individuals with needs.

Turning Pointe’s Diversity/Disability Compliance Program was created in response to Department of Labor (DOL)-Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP)’s increased focus on compliance with Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act. If your company is a federal contractor or subcontractor and has or will have a presence in Illinois, we want to help you go above & beyond compliance in inclusion of individuals with disabilities in your company.
