Educational and Community Resource Program
Turning Pointe Autism Academy will offer state of the art and leading edge programs for students and adults with autism. Turning Pointe strives to go beyond the “remove and fix” approach that has struggled to meet the needs of those with ASD. Instead, we offer a comprehensive approach that works with the families and public schools to provide consistent and effective programs that allow access to communication and opportunity for development of an individual’s self-management skills. Unless families and schools are included in the educational process, individuals with ASD do not progress well. Turning Pointe will be a partner and a resource for families, school districts, educators and therapists for ongoing support and training so that a consistent and effective learning and life skills environment can be maintained and replicated. |

Summer Camp
Turning Pointe offers week-long immersion summer camp programs that offer a full-time focus in our learning environment for children with autism and Aspergers syndrome. The camp focuses on social skills, peer interaction, group activities, emotional language development, problem solving, and having fun! |

Respite Home
Our respite home will offer the families of children with autism the opportunity to have their child receive 24 hour, supervised care in a home environment. While in our care, their child will receive focused attention on life skills development or any special needs as requested by the parents. |

Residential Program
Turning Pointe’s residential homes will provide an opportunity for adults with autism to live in an integrated and supportive home environment. Each home will have three residents with full-time aides as required to provide life skills, vocational and social support. The goal of the residential program is to strive to obtain independence and involvement in the community at large. |
