Resource Development & Business Advisory

Generation and Management of Donor Database, Donor Research, Acknowledgement, Fundraising Appeals, Capital Campaign, Events, Coordination of Individual and Corporate Cultivation and Solicitations, solicitation of business partners to support Turning Pointe, generation of leads for potential private and corporate donors, support and recognition of committee member’s efforts.

Bylaws and Corporate Structure

Generation and Maintenance of Bylaws and corporate structure documents, supervision of state filings required, research into trends and changes needing attention.

Education and Therapy Programs

Oversight and development of education curriculum and therapy programs, including research of emerging trends, technologies and best practices for possible integration into our school’s program. Management of Day School program and relationship with Easter Seals and Parents.

Family Support Services and After School Program

Identification of service gaps, research of resources available, generation of support initiative plan, promotion and oversight of family support program and emerging trends.

Business Advisory

Solicitation of business partners to support Turning Pointe, generation of leads for potential private and corporate donors, support and recognition of committee member’s efforts.

Vocational Development and Support

Research into vocational development program, funding, and corporate initiatives, solicitation of corporate partners, coordination with School District job training, coaching and transitions, development of vocational training and support programs, review and feedback of vocational initiatives.

Special Needs Recreation Center

Generating community support for program and facility, outreach, education and engagement of stakeholders and other disability groups, recreational and social program review and assessment.

Residential Services

Research of existing funding sources, funding alternatives, residential options and best practices, oversight of residential program.

Social Media and Website

Review and oversight of website content, Social Media campaign, and emerging trends analysis and recommendations.

Communications and Community Outreach

Maintenance of newsletter database, creating newsletters and press releases, researching community events for participation and increased awareness for the foundation.

Golf Outing

Management of annual golf outing including course selection, course communication and coordination, solicitation of sponsors, golfers and volunteers, solicitation of auction items, communications with golfers and volunteers, day of outing set up, take down, management and prize fulfillment, coordination of donor acknowledgement.

February Gala Event

Leadership and coordination of major gala event to raise money and awareness for the organization at the Morton Arboretum.
